Quote:
"If the universe had formed just a tiny bit differently—if gravity were fractionally stronger or
weaker, if the expansion had proceeded just a little more slowly or swiftly—then there might
never have been stable elements to make you and me and the ground we stand on."
Question:
What would things actually be like if indeed gravity was either stronger or weaker than it is in reality? What would have happened if the big bang had happened differently than we know it to have?
Comment:
I chose this quote because it made me question the way things actually are and how it would be if the simplest of things would have worked differently than we know it to have. How different would things be of how would things on earth work if gravity worked differently? Or if the big bang and elements worked differently that they do now? It makes me question our ability to function if the simplest of things were just slightly different. Would we have been able to have adapted if gravity worked different and had a different force?
